The stock JK drag link is a weak point in the steering system. Our heavy duty Trail Proof Drag Link upgrades it to 1.5" 7075 aluminum bar with big 1-Ton GM style tie rod ends with 7/8-18 threads. We use heavy duty high angle Tie rod ends, with right hand threads on one end and left hand threads on the other for easy adjustment. This drag link is designed to be a direct replacement for the stock drag link, and mounts under the knuckle. The knuckle end uses the same taper as the stock unit, however the pitman arm end uses the large GM 1-Ton taper which requires either reaming your pitman arm or replacing it with one of our machined arms. These are custom made to order and require extra time for machining.
